Many people jumpstart their health goals in January with a detox or some type of fast (juice fasts, water only, grapefruit fasts) but these can actually deprive your body of essential nutrients that are needed to support detoxification. With the start of 2016 the staff at Healthy Living Dallas has decided to do something a little different here at the practice. We have decided to Jump start 2016 with a practicewide 10 Day Clear Change Detoxification program.

What is the 10 Day Clear Change program and why is it different than other cleanses?

Metabolic detoxification occurs in the liver and has three major phases- Phase 1 (functionalization), Phase II (conjugation), and Phase Ill (antiporter activity). The Clear Change program I$ unique because it supports all three phases and most detoxifications do not. The Clear Change program supports the liver and allows toxins that have been building up in your body cells this year into a form that you can eliminate through stool, sweat, and urine. Detoxification can essentially be described as optimizing the body’s ability to process and excrete toxins while you temporarily reduce the amount of Incoming toxins. The result: Less toxins to start 2016! Not to mention that the Clear Change Detoxification Program is backed by 20 years of clinical experience and scientific research I Many of you have experienced the 10 Day detoxification with us as part of your normal, individual treatment protocols.

Does everybody need a detoxification? In answer to this question, we present a study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and reported by the Natural News. This study analyzed the blood and urine of sample populations to screen for 212 chemicals. The result? All 212 were found to be in the blood and urine of most Americans. Six chemicals in particular, found in almost all study participants, were identified by the CDC as probable health hazards. If you are living in a city, drinking water from our water system or wells, eating food grown in soils watered by this water, consume conventionally raised livestock, drive a vehicle or are regularly near highways you’ve been accumulating these toxins. Let’s start 2016 by helping our bodies eliminate the excess. Other signs and symptoms that could indicate a need for detoxification include irritability, headaches, lethargy, fatigue, weakness, abdominal pain, food allergies or chemical sensitivities, chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia, generalized muscle aches and difficulty concentrating.
